WPSL Division II serves as the developmental pathway for the Women’s Premier Soccer League. WPSL Division II amplifies the league’s mission to establish a unified pathway that provides the highest level of development opportunities for players, coaches, organizations, referees, and more.

Who plays in WPSL Division II?

WPSL Division II was first introduced in 2021 and has grown over 32 percent in five years. Fifteen WPSL teams will field Division II sides for the 2026 season, including the 2025 National Champions, Sporting CT.The full WPSL Division II footprint spans 45 cities in 19 states from New England to California and Minnesota to Florida. Over 50 WPSL Division II teams will compete in the 2026 season.

The Women’s Premier Soccer League has cemented itself as a historic symbol in the women’s games. National icons and some of the most recognizable talents like Brandi Chastain, Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe, Rose Lavelle, and Catarina Macario have competed on the WPSL field.
