SPORTING WICHITA MISSION AND CORE VALUES
The mission of Sporting Wichita is to provide a positive, safe and professional environment which encourages early development and fosters a lifelong interest in soccer. We seek to provide consistent quality programming structure, education and leadership for players of all ages and levels. We also strive to provide an environment which will foster the development of home grown talent and provide additional opportunities to players with the motivation and drive to play at the next level through progressive age appropriate programming utilizing the Sporting KC methodology. Our core values of commitment, leadership, teamwork, perseverance and sportsmanship are emphasized throughout our programming and education.

Our Mission
The mission of Sporting Wichita is to provide a quality soccer environment that is fun and educational for the player. We are committed to providing professional soccer coaching that places an emphasis on learning and developing soccer skills by providing high quality coaches and trainers, with certifications from national and international entities. Winning or losing is a matter of training, performance, discipline, hard work and dedication. The club focuses on sportsmanship, teamwork, solidarity, friendship and loving the soccer game (futbol).
Our History
Wichita Rojos Soccer Club was founded in 2002, and since then has grown into one of the largest youth soccer clubs in Wichita, Kansas. The club became Sporting Kansas City's 11th Academy Affiliate in the midwest on May 16, 2014. Sporting Wichita is a diverse club with players and families from all over the world, offering teams for boys and girls ages 5-19.
