College Advisory Program "CAP"
The College Advisory Program is in place to help all Sporting Wichita high school players reach their dream of college soccer by providing guidance, connections, and the tools needed to find their right fit.
The main event for the year is the College ID Night where universities from around the region come to Wichita and watch our high school aged players compete in scrimmages. The 2025 showcase was attended by over 50 universities between the boys and the girls, spanning every level of college soccer (NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, NJCAA).
In addition the CAP Director, Victor Olorunfemi, also delivers a series of presentations where Sporting Wichita membership is invited to come learn the latest recruitment tips. This includes the importance of social media, academic performance, and how to craft a desirable highlight video.
The presentation and College ID nights are completely free to Sporting Wichita membership. The presentations are primarily for high school freshmen and older. The College ID nights are primarily for sophomores and older and we send out a form for those players to sign up.
