FEES



Sporting Wichita fees are determined by age group and level and reviewed annually. As our club continues to grow in numbers and expand in levels of play and programs offered, we acknowledge the need for transparency and the support of our families in various ways to allow every player an opportunity. All information regarding fees, financial aid, scholarships, payment plans, late fees, and refunds are found below.


Registration fees details 2025-2026

What is included in base fees:


a. League and registration for one league in fall and spring. HS teams, one league per year.

b. Coaching and training year round. HS teams, fall or spring plus winter.

c. Facility rentals for training and matches.

d. Goalkeeper Training for U9-U19.

e. Sporting KC membership.

f. Club Dues: club admin, directors, Playmetrics, social media, coaching education, gear and equipment, insurance, accounting, etc.

g. Free admission to Sporting Wichita First Team games @ Stryker Soccer Complex for SWA players.


What is included in base fees for Platform Teams (MLS Next, NAL, DPL, etc.)

a. Registration and administration fees platform league. U13-14 is entire year, HS teams are fall or spring.

b. Coaching and training year round. HS teams, fall or spring plus winter.

c. Facility rentals for training and matches.

d. Goalkeeper Training for U13-U19.

e. Sporting KC membership.

f. Club Dues: club admin, directors, Playmetrics, social media, coaching education, gear and equipment, insurance, accounting, etc.

g. Free admission to Sporting Wichita First Team games @ Stryker Soccer Complex for SWA players.

h. Referee and referee assignor

i. Athletic Trainer at matches.

j. VEO recording system.


Event fees

Event fees cover all activities not included in the base fees (tournaments, winter league, double league, game reschedule, etc.)
Event fees collected with the base fees at time of registration. Base fees and event fees determine a player's account balance.
Each team will have an event budget, based on number of players on roster and event fee for respective team.


a. Registration and admin fees to: tournaments, winter leagues, futsal leagues, etc.

b. Coach travel expenses (hotel, gas, food, flight, mileage, auto rentals, etc) - for out of area tournament and league travel

Note: once the budget is exhausted, coach/manager will collect any additional funds needed for respective events


Additional Information:

All members will be required to pay a $100 ($50 for Jr. Academy) Roster Spot Deposit - Non Refundable  at time of acceptance. Members have the option to select from three different payment options for the remaining account balance.  Pay in full at time of acceptance, four payments, or monthly over seven months.  Monthly payment option is only available if registered by June 30, 2025. There will be a $20 fee for 4 month plan and $30 fee for 7 month plan.


A limited amount of financial aid for U9-19 is available for applicants showing financial need documentation.


Application and documentation for financial aid will be submitted online during the registration process.  Financial aid recipients will be reviewed through board process and if awarded accounts will automatically be credited.


Additional invoices will be sent out on an individual player basis for: red shirt, double roster, playing in a tournament with another team, etc.


Futsal cost for Recreational teams U5-U8 are included (1 practice a week during Fall and Spring season, 1/2 court).


Uniform and training gear will be purchased separately.


NOTES:  Once a player accepts a position and pays the $100 ($50 for Jr. Academy) Roster Spot Deposit - Non Refundable , he/she is making a commitment to Sporting Wichita from time of acceptance through May 31, 2026.  Any request for releases prior to May 31, 2026 will have to be granted through board approval.  Accounts must be paid in full prior to issuing any release.


No refunds will be given after registration. Exceptions are made in the event of season ending injuries or relocation that prevents the player from remaining with the club.


Any scholarship player failing to fulfill his/her commitment (June 1 - May 31) will owe his/her account in full.


Families who have selected the payment option will receive notifications before and after the due date. A $5 late fee will be applied to payments that are past due. If a family fails to communicate with the club registrar and/or club financial aid staff to arrange payment, the player will become ineligible to participate in practices or games. Payment cost cannot be waived.


Financial aid and scholarships will apply to base fees only.


All players need to pay for Event fees regardless of financial aid or scholarship.
